Watchlist

The Watchlist module gives you a visual summary of lab test results over time within the FaMedic personal health record app. It takes your saved test records and turns them into easy-to-read charts, giving you valuable health insights at a glance.

If you’re tracking sugar levels, cholesterol, blood pressure, or any repeated tests, this module shows you the full picture. You don’t need to open each test one by one. The chart gives you clarity and a health data tracking overview.

Why You Should Use It

Managing your family’s health isn’t just about storing records. You also need to understand how health data changes over time.

The Watchlist module helps you:

  1. Monitor key health indicators quickly using the health management software.
  2. Catch early warning signs of illness by tracking health history and medical records.
  3. See improvements or declines in health, ensuring health progress tracking.
  4. Keep your doctor informed with clear visuals of your family’s health records management.

You don’t need to be a medical expert. Just open the charts and get instant insights into health monitoring.

How It Works

Step 1: Open the Watchlist Tab

From the left-side navigation panel, click on “Watchlist.”

This opens the Watchlist dashboard.

Step 2: Choose a Family Member

At the top of the Watchlist, you’ll see a dropdown menu. Click it and select the name of the person whose test results you want to view.

This list includes all members for whom you’ve added test data in the FaMedic patient medical records app.

Step 3: View the Charts

Next to each member’s name, you’ll see a “Chart” button.

Click on it.

A line chart or bar graph will appear, showing test results over time.

For example, if a member had 10 CBC tests, you’ll see their hemoglobin, WBC, and platelet values plotted clearly. You will also see the min and max values plotted as horizontal lines so you can clearly spot when you have gone off limits.

Real-Life Scenarios

Here’s how you can apply the Watchlist module in daily life:

Tracking Your Child’s CBC

If your child often feels tired, and you’ve done 10 CBC tests in a year, use Watchlist to view all the results together. You might notice consistently low hemoglobin. Show the chart to your doctor during the next visit. It saves time and provides useful context.

Monitoring Blood Sugar Levels

If your partner has diabetes and you regularly add sugar level tests, the Watchlist helps. Choose their name, view the sugar chart, and see if levels are improving or not. You can adjust diet and medication sooner based on the trend.

Supporting Elderly Parents

Your elderly parent may need regular liver function tests. Watchlist shows ALT, AST, and other values over time. Instead of comparing test sheets, use the chart to decide whether to seek medical advice early.

Key Benefits

  1. Clarity: Charts make patterns easier to spot
  2. Speed: Saves time compared to reading individual results
  3. Sharing: Doctors can interpret charts more quickly
  4. Preparedness: Supports chronic condition management

With one click, you can understand a member's health progress over time.

Final Thoughts

The Watchlist module simplifies health monitoring. Use it weekly, monthly, or whenever you want to feel informed. Before any checkup, open the Watchlist, view trends, and discuss them with your doctor. It turns medical data into easy-to-read visuals, helping you manage your family's health with more confidence.
