Filling in the Plan Details

  1. Plan Name: Give your treatment plan a name (e.g., "Chi Restore" or "Blood Test Plan").
Image
  1. Start Date & End Date: Specify the dates for when the treatment begins and ends.
Image
  1. Treatment: You can add a treatment by selecting Add Treatment. This section allows you to specify:
  2. Treatment Name: The name of the medication or treatment (e.g., "Xiaoyao Wan").
  3. Quantity: How many doses or units to be taken.
  4. Frequency: How often the medication should be taken (e.g., "2 times a day").
  5. Custom Days: You can choose specific days for the treatment if the plan doesn't follow a regular schedule.
  6. Comment: Add any additional notes or instructions (e.g., "Take with food").

Important Note: The treatment section takes its data from the Treatments Module. Make sure you have added treatments to it otherwise nothing will show up for this section. Learn how to add treatments here.

Real-Life Scenarios

1. Managing a Child’s Treatment Plan:

Let’s say your child has been diagnosed with a respiratory infection and has been prescribed medication. You can create a treatment plan called “Respiratory Infection Treatment Plan” in the Plans module.

You would specify the start and end dates, include the medication name, dosage, and frequency, and even note that the medicine should be taken with food. With the Plans module, you’ll never forget a dose and can track progress effectively.

2. Tracking Long-Term Conditions:

For a family member with a chronic condition like diabetes, the Plans module allows you to create a long-term treatment plan that includes various medications, lifestyle changes, and appointments. You can create a plan that includes a blood sugar monitoring schedule, insulin doses, and regular checkups.

3. Post-Surgery Recovery:

After surgery, your elderly parent may need a customized post-operative care plan. You can track wound care, medications, and physical therapy sessions in the Plans module.

4. Managing Chronic Conditions

You have a family member who needs to take regular medication for a chronic condition, such as hypertension or diabetes. With FaMedic, you can create a treatment plan that includes the medication name, dosage, frequency, and any specific instructions, such as "take with food." You can set reminders to make sure the patient never misses a dose.

For example:

  1. Plan Name: Hypertension Management
  2. Treatment: Lisinopril
  3. Quantity: 1 tablet
  4. Frequency: Once a day
  5. Start Date: 01-Jan-2025
  6. End Date: Ongoing (monthly check-ups)

This allows you to track all the data easily.

Why the Plans Module is Useful:

1) Health Tracking for Multiple Family Members

Managing the health of several family members can be overwhelming. The Plans module helps you stay organized. It allows you to create specific treatment plans for each family member, even if their needs differ.

2) Medication Adherence

Forgetting medications can lead to serious health issues. The Plans module makes sure your family stays on track. It prevents missed doses and ensures medications are used correctly.

3) Real-Time Updates and Modifications

Treatment plans often change. You might need to adjust medication or dosage. The Plans module makes it easy to update plans in real-time, ensuring you always have the latest treatment information.
